The Annual Sports Meet is an important event at KCIM where students from MBA, BBA, and BCA programs participate in athletics, cricket, and various fun sports activities. The event provides students with an opportunity to showcase their talent, teamwork, and sporting spirit.

Students are required to undergo a 6–8 week industrial training program with a commercial or non-commercial organization after the completion of the second semester.
Himachal Pradesh University conducts examinations after the completion of each semester.
Internal assessments are conducted through internal examinations organized by the college. The schedule is announced in the academic calendar.
The institute has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell under the leadership of Mr. Girish Vats, who has extensive experience in student placement and career guidance.
The institute publishes an annual journal titled “TECHMAN” focused on Management and Technology. Students are encouraged to contribute research articles and papers.
The fee structure is determined as per the norms of Himachal Pradesh University and AICTE.
Tuition fee waivers are granted to meritorious students at the time of admission in the first semester. In subsequent semesters, the waiver continues only if the student maintains 75% or above marks in external examinations with no supplementary exams.
Students leaving the college or hostel must claim their security deposit before 31st December of the same year. After this date, the amount will lapse and be transferred to the College Development Fund.
