Increasing number of hospitals, Nursing homes and Pharmaceuticals Companies all over the country which indicates the growing scope and the jobs in this field. There are varied career options to choose after completing your B. Pharma or D. Pharma.

There is ample scope of research for the Pharmacy Professional in India and abroad. Bioinformatics, Pharmacovigilance and Medical transcription are coming out to be the two best options for job Opportunity and career advancement for the Pharmaceutical professionals. There is huge scope for Pharmaceutical professionals in pharmaceutical industry.

INTRODUCTION

Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that can be traced back to Vedic times. It is often recognized as a viable alternative to conventional medical treatment. People all across the world are now accepting this alternative approach of treatment, and the World Health Organization has established an international forum for traditional medical systems like Ayurveda to be endorsed. As a result, the D.Pharmacy Upvaid programme has opened several doors for students interested in this discipline.

Syllabus & Subjects

The curriculum is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge of Ayurveda and practical hospital training.

Year 1: Foundations of Ayurveda

• Ayurveda Parichaya: Introduction to the history and principles of Ayurveda.
• Sharir Rachna & Kriya: Basic Human Anatomy and Physiology from both Ayurvedic and Modern perspectives.
• Svasthavritta: Principles of hygiene, diet, and social medicine.
• Dravya Guna: Study of medicinal herbs and their properties.



Year 2: Clinical & Pharmacy Skills

• Bhaishajya Kalpana: The art of preparing Ayurvedic medicines (Vati, Asava, Arishta, etc.).
• Rasa Shastra: Study of minerals and metals used in medicine.
• Hospital Management: Basic nursing care, patient handling, and dispensary management.
• Practical Training: Hands-on internship in an Ayurvedic hospital or pharmacy manufacturing unit.

HERBAL GARDEN

Herbal Garden is very spacious having the area of 2500 Sq. Mitr. The total number of medicinal plants grown in it is 300. Green House Is Built Near The Herbal Garden, Which Is Having Numerous Very Rare Medicinal Plants Of Dravyaguna Vigyan. The best part of the our institution is herbal garden with e-learning facility. you have to need just scan the QR code Printed on every plant name plate and you can get all the details about plant like family of plant, botanic name, names in different language & uses etc.

LIBRARY

College library is working nicely in a space . Total no. of books at present in the library is more than ten thousands. out of that 2571 books are of ayurveda and One Hundred Two books are of modern science & others stream etc.

There Is Seating Capcity Of around 50 Students & 4 Teachers. Journals In Ayurveda And Modern Medicine Is More Than 10 In Number. Magazines of Different Sections like Sports, Cultural, Science and Technology and General Knowledge Etc Are Coming to Library Regularly and These Are Almost 20 In numbers.

CAFETERIA

The hospital has a professionally managed cafeteria for the convenience of the patient’s relatives and other visitors to the hospital for meeting their requirements of snacks/ drinks and meals. Cafeteria of the college is very neat & clean and working in the area .Separate arrangement for teachers, non teaching staff & paramedical staff etc has been made in the canteen by providing the 10 tables and 40 chairs etc.

For students and guest separate arrangement has been made by providing 15 tables and 60 chairs etc. Arrangement of fans, cooler has been made. There is one water cooler on the right along the entry point of the canteen. Breakfast, lunch, dinner is provided in the college canteen. There is also arrangement of tea, coffee, cold drinks and baking items etc.
