FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR B.Tech (Engineering)

About FDP:-

This software training program is developed by IIT Bombay as Spoken-Tutorial (software training project) in association with AICTE and MHRD. The FDP organized by KC Group of Research and Professional Institutes, Pandoga for B.Tech staff. The FDP starts at 1:00PM on 12^th June, 2017 in Internet Lab of college. Where faculty members of B.Tech got a technological upgrade and a chance to enhance their skill set as per the latest market trends of using more and more open source technology. The training program was initiated with the intro speech and A talk on LaTex by Prof. Kannan Moudgalya  (spoken-tutorial project, IIT Bombay) after that Dr. Saroj Sharma (Campus Director, KCGI Pandoga) was told about the benefits of FDP then Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar (Principal, KCIET) give knowledge about why skill enhancement is important in tutors professional life. Er. Mandeep Kashyap (HOD CSE) overall co-ordinator of this program guided the staff members, that how to start the videos, tutorials, and use of required hardware and softwares. Director Mam, Principal, KCIET Faculty members from different departments attend this program.

 

 

OBJECTIVES of FDP:-

1. This Program aims to provide a comprehensive theoretical and hands on practical experience on LaTex.
2. LaTex is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting, which is preferably used for technical/scientific papers writing for journals by researchers, engineers and mathematicians at large.
3. Automatic generation of table of contents, bibliographic and indexes.
