Applied Science Department

Chemistry:
The thrust of the Chemistry Department is on providing the students a strong set of fundamental concepts of Chemical sciences such as Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry etc. as these forms are the foundation of many chemical, textile and other industries and also Environmental Engineering. The departments have highly qualified motivated teachers to guide the students. Mathematics:
The thrust of the Mathematicas Department is on equipping the students with a strong set of fundamental tools for mathematical and analytical jobs. An engineer is expected to have a strong grounding in the discipline as it serves to build the framework for computations and analysis in the other areas of engineering. The Department mainly deals with the subject of Transforms, Statistics, Numerical methods, Probablity, Differential Equations, Vector Analysis and Operations Research, which are of a great importance in the field of signal and image processing, control and instrumentation, network analysis etc. The department has highly qualified and motivated teachers to guide the students.

Physics:
The thrust of the Physics Department is on providing the students a strong set of fundamental concepts of Physical sciences such as Optics, Nuclear Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Mechanics, Quantum Physics, Theory of Relativity etc. as these forms are the foundation of modern day Electronics and Related Sciences.
