THREE DAYS WORKSHOP ON topic "SKILLS OF TEACHING AND A TEACHER" in KCCE (OCT 14- OCT16, 2014)


KCCE organized seven days workshop on "SKILLS OF TEACHING AND A TEACHER" from OCT 14 TO OCT 16, 2014 under the supervision of distinguished innovative Dr. Rekha, Principal KCCE. The main motive of the workshop was to acquaint pupil teachers with the various skills of teaching required to become an efficient teachers. These skills were demonstrated by various subject experts. These subject experts were from different education institutions, experienced faculty members of KCCE, malicious members of Alumni.


On the first day of demonstration lessons among the subject experts one of the invitees was Dr. Brij Mohan Subject Expert, Tg of Hindi was also invited who demonstrated the various skills of teaching by using real objects and he focused on inductive method. Ms. Tina Dhir (Assistant Professor kirpal sagar College of Education) demonstrated teaching skills required to teach science to the students with the topic "food preservation". She demonstrates her lesson with a ppt & some real objects. Among alumni members the invitee was Ms. Sheetal. She presented the demonstration lesson on tg of s.st on the topic "Natural Calamities." She presented her lessons by using a model.


On the 2nd day of demonstration skills among the subject experts one of the invitees was Ms Vibhuti from Cambridge international school, nsr. She demonstrated lesson on Tg. of English on the prose lesson "The Last leaf" through ppt & pupil participation. Among student alumni Ms Radhika demonstrated her skills on the topic "functions of bank". She used ppt & some real objects like cheque books, drafts, atm card, debit& credit cards etc. her lesson was knowledgeable. Another student alumni was Ms. Sonam & she demonstrated on the topic of mathematics. She create actual real situation to prove the volume of cone= volume of cylinder.


On the 3rd day of demonstration lessons the faculty of kcce presented their lessons. Ms. Sapna Asst. Prof. (Tg. of Pol.Sci), presented various skills of teaching through her topic of 'Election System in India.' Ms. Neha Asst. Prof. (Tg .of Eco), demonstrated the skill of explanation & skill of questioning with the help of topic on "Factors Affecting Demand." She took help of a power point presentation.


All the experts acquainted the students with various teaching skills that are required to become a good teacher. The pupil teachers of KCCE thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. Dr. Rekha, Principal KCCE thanked all the guests and motivated students to apply these skills in their teaching practice.


Cleanliness drive &Campus beautification on oct17, 2014


One day Cleanliness drive &Campus beautification was organized in kcce. All the pupil teachers of kcce participated in this drive. The students were divided in to several groups in which students as well as teachers participated. It was a great day in kcce.
