FEE WAIVER SCHEME
AICTE APPROVED SCHEME OF FEE WAIVER SCHEME FOR WOMEN, ECONOMICALLY WEAKER AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED MERITORIOUS CANDIDATES (RESIDENTS OF PUNJAB) AS PER THE PUNJAB GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION NO. 13/60/02TE2 dated 27-08-2008 & partial modification Notification No.13/60/08-1TE2/2650 dated 24-06-2010. Detail of seats is as under:-

Conditions:-
1. The candidates of all above categories must produce a Punjab Domicile Certificate.
2. Children of parents having annual income of less that Rs.2.50 lakhs from all sources shall only be eligible for seats under this scheme. A certificate issued by Tehsildar/Executive Magistrate is required for claim under this scheme.
3. For category (c) the candidates should also produce a certificate issued by Civil Surgeon of the respective district.
4. The admission will be carried out as per the AICTE policy guidelines by Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh after the regular counseling and the students already admitted through regular counseling will also be eligible to apply for fee waiver seats subject to fulfillment of other conditions.
5. The Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh will invite online application through separate form and counseling will be carried out manually.
6. The students already admitted in the Institution will be eligible to apply to Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh for taking admission under fee waiver category. However they will be eligible only for the seats available in their respective Institutions. In this way the students already admitted will not be able to change the Institution but they will have an opportunity to have a fee waiver seats in the same Institution and he shall be able to change branch/trade with in the same Institution provided a free seats is available in that trade/branch.
