Brief Profile
Dr. N L Hiregoudar obtained his BE (Mechanical) in 1980 from Karnataka University,
ME (Mech) with specialization in Production Management from M.S University of Baroda
in 1988, and Ph..D. from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1996. He has
3 years industrial and 27 years teaching experience at both UG and PG levels in
various colleges. He has guided 3 Ph.D. candidates and have around 40 papers to
his credit in national/international conferences and Journals.
He has served at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, for two years on
a teaching assignment during 2000-02. Currently, he is working as Director Principal
at KC College of Engineering & IT at Nawanshahr, Punjab.
Principal Message
I am very much pleased to be the Principal of this esteemed K C College of Engineering
& IT.
I am confident that I will be able to fulfill the aspirations for the progress of
this institute and work towards making this institute the preferred choice of students
seeking engineering education.
I will strive my best in this direction to develop this institute as one of the
best in the field of engineering and technology.
It is clear that the standard or the quality of future education is certainly in
the hands of the e-concept. Even though e-learning involves certain practical constraints,
it is certain that it will provide and promote quality education with international
standard in future.
